has Lucy morphed into Angelina Jolie? She only seems to be wearing black nowadays. What a shame because she looks good in many colours!

    Article

A new article from Lotus magazine (actual interview was many months ago) about cars, driving in Miami, first car etc. And there's a pretty good caricature.

Apologies for the comment by poster diane243@hotmail.com which I didn't see for a few hours and has now been deleted. The poster can infect her factless opinions and bile on other sites but not here.

    Re: Comment

I am glad you caught that and removed it. Thanks for all of your hard work in covering these remarkable people (Lucy and Matt) who focus so much energy on the greater good for their family and so many charitable organizations. Lucy looks fantastic. (sorry Matt but she really is your better half) They are such a great example of a Hollywood couple who has their bearings and priorities in the right place.

    Re: Comment

Some people (or one person with multiple identities) appear to have a certain agenda they keep pushing, without any basis in fact. Any future posts from that person or their other identities will be deleted.

And yes, Lucy certainly appears to be Matt's better half.

(Did anyone recognise the non-famous guy in the photo with Bono in the main post? He came with Matt and Lucy to the show.)

    Nancy's award and Elysium movie?

Matt's mother, Nancy Carlsson-Paige, received the Robert F Kennedy Children’s Action Corps’ Embracing the Legacy Award for her long-time work on behalf of children and families.

A report about Nancy is from her local paper:

Her speech in accepting the award is available at the Washington Post:

Just caught up on the last few postings. Really sorry to read about Kent Damon's battle with cancer. At least he is in remission for the time being. And he's getting the best care.

Love the pics from the Spiderman show, Lucy looks utterly gorgeous, she usually wears black or dark colours to these events, but she does look stunning as a mum of 4. And of course Matt looks absolutely fantastic, hopefully he's discovering that life begins at 40 :)

Read Nancy's speech on education and agree with every word. In the UK too, education is now going backwards to something that only the wealthy are entitled to with fees for university education set to hit £9,000 per year. Even in primary and secondary schools teachers are struggling to control large classes and being paid peanuts to do one of the most difficult jobs in any society. So glad I don't have any kids in school.

Anyway, rant over, thanks for your tireless work on this site. Marcia

    GQ shoot

Hi Marcia, always great to read your comments. Matt's really supporting Nancy's stance on education and publicly pushing for reforms. Not sure if he'll make the march on Washington if Elysium starts only a few days before.

Meanwhile, Matt's doing a GQ cover shoot for the January issue today.
