A pic of Matt in his "management" duds. Kind of fun.

    Re: The Kimmel show

First they take away Matt's shot at an Oscar, then they take away Matt's shot at a second
Emmy! "They" suck!! Grrrrrr! Really, this is getting RIDICULOUS!

I know eventually karma will swing good things back to Matt and I just hope I'm there to enjoy it. Bt in the meantime I'm going to need a drink with dinner.... Grrrrrr. :-[

    Re: The Kimmel show

And Matt's in the lead category for Emmys, so he will lose to Michael Douglas. He may also have lost in the Supporting category to Rob Lowe if people were persuaded by a performance based on hair and makeup.

    Re: The Kimmel show

Nothing illustrates better the fact that the majority of people are thoughtless idiots than the clamor over Lowe's performance. You are right, it is 80% hair and make-up. It's the same knee-jerk reaction that leads to the wrong people getting Oscars. It's totally a "Boo-ya!" Pacino performance. Amusing, yes. Acting, no. You want great acting, who about the guy who plays Carlucci? How about Debbie Reynolds?
Awww, I'm going out. In a huff, I may add.

    Agreed, of course.

Good initial reviews from the Shakespeare event, where Matt played Prince of Arragon in the Merchant of Venice.

I see a Dogberry or a Bottom in Matt Damon's future based on his highly entertaining reading at @PublicForumNY. A surprise & a delight.

@mrbplus He was leaning on humor and doing it well. Hard to tell how he'd do with more straightforward role. But surprisingly capable.
