    One armed man

Matt has provided some comments in support of new film 'One armed man'. Matt has two friends in the cast - Terry Kinney and Tim Guinee.

    Old fun article

Here's an article from last year that I missed which has a few references to the Costa Rica holiday last year. No clues yet as to where he is on holiday at the moment (although one rumor on Twitter today had Matt back in Costa Rica).

Sweet article. You're so disciplined, holding stuff back and posting when it's quiet. Marcia

    Re: Old fun article

No, I was just trying to find any current references to Costa Rica and found this. I'm not that disciplined to hold anything back for that long.

Another very short Project Greenlight clip

On a related note, Chris Moore was asked about PG today while promoting his new show: ""It has no relation to what this concept does and what we're trying to do. I'm happy for them, but it has nothing to do with this." http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/tv/2014/07/11/chris-moore-takes-the-chair/12547645/ I'd like to think he's still close with Matt and Ben but it does seem strange that he's not involved?

I think his current project was picked up before PGL and he just went with The Chair.

    Holiday

Matt does appear to have been in Costa Rica last week, but has moved on from where he is staying.

Update - definitely still in Costa Rica. A few sightings today.

    Interview

Stylist Annie Jagger (who I think was part of the Monuments Men tour) talks about working with Matt.

"And then there is Matt (Damon) who is one of the most gracious, easygoing, big-hearted people I have met in the business."

    PGL, The Martian

I think this is a new (tiny) clip. I'm not sure how HBO is using these. Are they eventually going to put out the whole interview or just let it out in bits like this? Seems odd.

I am in the process of reading The Martian, and wow, what an exciting story! I got it yesterday and am already almost half way through. Stayed up reading until waaaay too late. Matt's humor, groundedness, and intelligence are a fantastic fit for the character. Ok, back to the book!

    Re: PGL, The Martian

Do you not want to read it, Gregory? Perhaps you want to be surprised when the movie comes out. I really enjoyed it, I totally threw away all my responsibilities and finished it today.

It's right up my street. I have always loved Arthur C Clarke and other sci-fi writers who really had a firm grasp of the science. This was reminiscent of Clarke in that it combined hard sci-fi knowledge with a near future setting and edge of your seat excitement. More humor, though.

I'll be curious to see how they change it for the film. Apparently the script is very good.

    Re: PGL, The Martian

Didn't love the ending but the rest of it was great. I suspect it's doubtful filming will proceed this fall as we've heard nothing about this in weeks.

    Re: PGL, The Martian

Hey Paula, I may read it. I was waiting to see if some of you would read it. I may read it now that some of you have have positive things to say. I may not though, so as to not spoil the plot. I'll let ya know if I pick up a copy :)
