Bourne 5 continues
From a new interview with Ridley Scott at Screen International:
http://www.screendaily.com/awards/ridley-scott-on-why-he-landed-on-the-martian/5097605.article

Scott knew within 20 minutes of meeting Damon they understood each other. “He’s one of the most user-friendly actors,” says the director. “He’s a great guy. He’s a great team player. He’s a very, very talented actor as well as having a great sense of humour, which isn’t used often enough.”

As a writer and producer himself, Damon brought problem-solving skills and a directness to the production without ego or drama. “You don’t get anywhere with people being polite to each other,” says Scott.

Matt traveled to Washington for one day of filming with Alicia Vikander for Bourne 5:

RE: Party

Good for him. I wondered if he would at least go put his face out there since he is back in the country.

The Martian just passed $220m domestic at the box office.

Re: Party

I do hope Matt's great work in the Martian will be recognized this award season. I think his best shot is the Golden Globe.

The Martian hold off stiff competition including Point Break and several new Chinese titles this weekend and is no1 again in China Box Office. It now reaches 73.6m which just passed Gravity's 70m take there. The global total for the Martian is now at 571m.

Just sat down with Matt Damon, who is taking a midway Bourne break to talk "The Martian" this month. Good timing!

Noel Gallagher

Noel talks about going to seven U2 shows on the latest tour and calls Matt a 'lovely guy' when chatting with Simon Mayo. Around the 20 minute mark.

Matt's also attending a q&a following a screening Monday night.

Steve from Collider wrote that Matt is on a break from filming Bourne until early January.

RE: Monday

I read somewhere today that Tommy Lee was shooting in DC. Maybe they're doing the 'bad guy in the office' portion now.

Yay! Glad Matt's going for it.

New Project: Suburbicon?

Looks like a possible new project. Probably still in very early stage. But it sounds interesting.
