    Steve Irwin

Heard about his death on the news this morning. What awful news. A real tragedy, his family must be devastated. He did so much for wildlife conservation not just in Australia but all over the world. He'll be sadly missed. MP

That first photo is just how I always think of both (and I didn't even know they'd met!): wide smile, full of life. Most fitting.

I couldn't agree more. They did have a very similar light around them. As for Steve, I never saw a man who loved animals more. Terri and their children have all of my condolences. Steve will be greatly missed.

My family and I were in Australia for 3 weeks in June. The first place my 11 year old wanted to go was the Australia Zoo to see Steve Irwin. And we did get to see him! He was not doing any shows that day but he went by us on a little motorbike and said "G'day mates!" We were thrilled. We are now very sad. My heart goes out to Terri and Bindi and Bob.
