  • Edgar Ramirez has been cast as the main villain in Ultimatum - from Empire Online:

Ramirez has been cast as Paz, the villain in The Bourne Ultimatum. Several names, including Gael Garcia Bernal and Freddy Rodriguez, had previously been mentioned in connection with the role of the assassin involved in the hunt for Jason Bourne. Ramirez is probably best known for his role as Keira Knightley's bounty hunter buddy Choco in Domino.

The Bourne Ultimatum is currently shooting in London and is scheduled for release August 10 2007.

    London filming

We were standing just to the right of these pictures. Out of camera range I hasten to add. Those extras really look like real commuters - there were lots of people milling around, they were not stopping anyone really. Apart from the teenage girls trying to take pictures with their camera phones.

Felicity - it was just after one of these takes that Matt did a huge smile - incredible. In reaction to a comment by Paul Greengrass I think.

The helicopter is back today over the London Eye.

    Re: London filming

Thanks Jan. Reports on IMDB say the helicopter is getting aerial shots for the Fantastic Four sequel.

Quite a few blog comments and pictures of the filming at Waterloo - look at flickr and other sites.

When is the filming planned for your block?

    Re: London filming

Oh! So the filming at the London Eye might be a red herring then!

I was passing through Waterloo this morning and there were a few film crew milling around. Around platform 3 (I think IMDB said platforms 1 - 7 would be used). Right by the Krispy Kreme donut franchise!

They are filming in my block on Mon 6 between 0700-1900 and on Tue 7 between 0900-2100.

It is so difficult to concentrate at work knowing that filming is going on just 10 floors below me.

    Bourne Ultimatum Plot Question

First - thank you so much for posting all the great pics and news about "Bourne Ultimatum"! My question is about something I've read in several places, including the "RottenTomatoes" web-site that repeats the news about Ramirez's being signed to the movie. The web-site goes on to say "..."The Bourne Ultimatum," picking up in Moscow after "Bourne 2"...". This doesn't make much sense since the last scene in "Supremacy" is Bourne striding off-screen on the streets of New York City. Not, I hasten to add, that I want to know too much about the plot details, just that it seems odd for people to say this. Of course, a simple explanation is that Bourne returns to Moscow. Anyway, can't wait to see this movie - only 10 months to wait. Take care, Mooncrow

    Re: Bourne Ultimatum Plot Question

I think that info is based on the incorrect plot summary currently on IMDB. It wasn't reported in the official list of locations that filming will take place in Moscow, although it has been rumored.

Was it the third book's plotline (which we know is not being used at all)?

I'm disappointed Bernal will not be in the film. I think I would have enjoyed seeing him act up against Matt.
