Re: Minnie Driver

I don't want to get into an argument with anyone here, but I am surprised by everyone's 'hatred' of a woman they don't even know. The two of them obviously had a very ugly breakup, and people want to turn her into the bad guy despite the fact that they know very little about what happened. There probably were no bad guys in the scenerio, just two people who didn't want to be together anymore.

I'm sorry to go off a little there, but all this Minnie-hating is just rediculous. She's a beautiful, talented actress, and obviously Matt saw that in her back in the GWH days.

Re: Minnie Driver

I agree with you again. I was waiting for someone to speak some reason here. Do you not think that Matt Damon probably broke up with her? He probably initiated it for whatever reason. Yes, she is probably still somewhat bitter and jealous of his succes. So what? We've probably all got people that we have hurt in our former love lives and they're still a little mad about it. None of us know the details of what happened between them. And who knows, maybe Matt did end it rather abruptly? Maybe she thought they were together forever and going to get married and have babies. There is no reason for the Minnie bashing.

Re: Minnie Driver

This isn't claiming to be a pro-Minnie site and I think we all know enough of what happened to have our own views.

Enough on the subject.

One

Understood, and onto another subject...I was watching Fox last night and I saw the 'One' commercial. I think the 'plain and simple' approach may have been a mistake, but Matt's voiceover was very good and the end stressed its point enough. However, did anyone else tice the graininess to the film? Was it just my tv's satellite acting up, or was that intentional? If so, it gave a very cheap, home movie-ish impression that, depending on how you looked at it, worked to its favor or didn't.

Anywho, it was nice to see Matt in the commercial, as I knew he would be.
