The Bourne Ultimatum world tour (including Birmingham)
  • Early indications are that Matt's promotional duties for The Bourne Ultimatum will be even more extensive this time than for previous films in the franchise, ranging from premieres across the world and across the UK. Details from a Variety article discussing upcoming summer releases and the Birmingham Post.

Other contenders with international appeal include "Ocean's Thirteen"; "The Bourne Ultimatum," for which UPI plans to tour Matt Damon around the globe; and "Live Free or Die Hard."

Matt Damon is expected to visit Birmingham's Cineworld Cinema on Broad Street in August as part of a regional tour to promote The Bourne Ultimatum.

Good news that there will be a big promotion for Ultimatum. About time Matt got some exposure. And goodness me - Birmingham too! I hope they do a London premiere also.

Saw TGS yesterday. i was riveted from start to finish. The performances were faultless (except Billy Crudup's awful English accent) and I loved the attention to detail in every facet of the film - even down to the tea drinking. I can't find enough superlatives for Matt's performance.

Why are we fans virtually the only ones who loved that movie? Perhaps we knew what to expect, and what to appreciate. But almost nobody could love that Crudup accent.

I think it's safe to say if there's a premiere in Birmingham there will be a premiere in London.

My mother thought it was fantastic and she is too old to be a fan of anyone (she likes the Bourne films though). In fact, she wants to see it again. Jan

And my dad really liked it. As Matt predicted, a small(ish) but dedicated audience.

wow you will be so lucky if he visits birmingham, maybe you could see him at one of his promotional events. if he is in D.C. right now filming, then he is only three hours away from me. thats so wierd to think of.

Thanks for all the updates, i am really glad that he will be promoting more, as long as he doesn't have to be away from his family too long or anything. i am looking forward to some new interviews etc.
