The Bourne Legacy!

A silly little random. The money that was paid to the tenants/owners associations of my building where they filmed part of Ultimatum is being put towards the communal garden areas. Thanks Matt! I'll always think of you now when I look at the plants. Jan

Re: The Bourne Legacy!

Very cute - thanks Jan. A great and lasting way to spend the funds. Must be so much money spent on appeasing local buildings, councils etc.

An item in Cindy Adams' NY Post Column a few days ago:

ALL kinds of cop cars, fuzz, staffers, bar ricades, security on West 26th between B'way and Eighth the other day. Matt Damon shooting "The Bourne Ultimatum." To donate to the block association for its cooperation, producers offered $1,000. It was rejected. They upped to $5,000. It was accepted.

Re: The Bourne Legacy!

I don't think our associations got anywhere near $5,000! $1,000 is a bit of a joke though. I guess the Brits weren't canny enough. They should have got me to negotiate. Of course I would not have negotiated a fee, but a tea party with Matt instead - the little old ladies would have loved it. I can see it now "Ooh such a lovely young man, and so polite. Who is he?"
