Marcia and Jess I see where you are coming from. It does seem rather crass to discuss clothes. However I think the point people are making is not actually the clothes but how Matt fitted it in with his working schedule. Nobody meant to detract from the situation in Darfur I am sure. Jan

Thanks Jan, you're right. He's obviously very busy, but makes time to do the things that are important to him. He's not in front of the camera all the time and there are large chunks of his day when he is free to do other things if he wants to. He's never come across to me as the sort of celebrity who is obsessed with his appearance.

I think at some point there will have to be a debate about celebrities and the causes they embrace. I've been watching and reading the coverage of Madonna in Malawi very carefully and in almost everything I've seen and read the orphanage she's building and the children she's helping has received minimal coverage whilst there has been endless speculation about her. Anyway that's just my take on it. I'm pretty sure most people would disagree with me. Marcia
