Movie stars Matt Damon and Richard Gere are expected to honour Assembly of First Nations National Chief Phil Fontaine for his fight against First Nations child poverty during the Toronto Film Festival this September.
Fontaine, who is cutting off his famed ponytail Monday in the name of eradicating child poverty, will be feted at One X One's annual gala.
Fontaine will have his hair snipped at an Ottawa hair salon to kick off Redken Canada's cut-a-thon benefit slated for June 3.
All proceeds from the event will go to One X One, a high-profile and celebrity studded Canadian non-profit foundation that raises money to fight child poverty around the world.
Filming has still be going on up until very very recently since i last checked in LA. And there will most likely be yet more reshoots to do in London, Pinewood studios in the coming weeks. I finished a week of reshoots only a couple of weeks ago, which is no bad thing as its another opportunity to work with the great Bourne collective. The Bourne cast and crew have a tight family feel and its been great experience to be a big part of. Its likely there will be some form of Bourne filming going on somewhere right up until the end of June.... maybe beyond...who knows?
But all these reshoots and pick ups are neccessary to make the film as amazing and refined as possible. Paul Greengrass and the team of Producers and Matt are pulling out all the stops to make sure every section/act of the film can be as good as possible. Its a great inspiring admirable work ethic, and I wish all directors and producers and Stars put in as much passion and high standards in their movies. There are so many films out there that have such high expectations and have the potential to be amazing that fail to deliver. Somewhere along the way elements of these disappointing productions have been happy to settle for 2nd best it would seem.
Can tell you now, that Ultimatum should will be an amazing movie. worth the wait.
