  • Al Pacino supposedly talked to the Sun newspaper about the cast here:

“I’ve met Brad a couple of times and having met Matt, he’s just a great guy. DON CHEADLE, and all of them, are wonderful. Elliot Gould is a friend of mine. He’s a card playing buddy.”

Next time, why not have them do fingerpainting? Could hardly be more laughter-inducing. :)

Absolutely. It was always such a ridiculous event, and by the looks of that article, almost a complete disaster. And Matt has to go through another one before the Bourne release - the walk of fame ceremony.

But hey, the pictures are good.

    I was there

Having been there I can say it was rather odd the way it was so delayed. I stood back behind the stage where they were rumored to come out (before they emerged from the doors to the right of the stage instead), and heard they were practicing their signatures for the cement.

I also can say that one of the reasons the cement wasn't ready was because of the several differing reports on when the guys would actually show up. lol. It was fun to watch from where I was!

The best part was definitely when they got off the stage and came through the crowd. We were on their exit route and by the time Matt got to our end he was TOTALLY done, did a great job of not hearing our cries for his attention and after a few hugs and some words with people, he turned, saw Lucy, broke into a HUGE smile while reaching for her hand and off they went.

It was very exciting to be there, really neat to see Brad Pitt and George Clooney up close (I should have asked him out!) and I ended up with some great pictures for my memory books...

    Re: I was there

Thanks for the great on-set report - must have been special to be on scene for a little moment in history. And a bonus cute Matt and Lucy moment.

The week of events is almost over and I'm sure they're all exhausted, but Matt still has to go back to Bourne shortly...

You know it! The event, as disorganized as it was, clearly was a good time for the fans I was surrounded by.

I seriously have never been shoved and prodded by such kind and understanding individuals. (most being from the Southern US)

And I was there for more than Matty- as a lifelong SoCal resident, I have never experienced one of these ceremonies. I understand others might find them menial, but I think it is a cool immortalization. To each their own, I suppose.
