Rainmaker special edition

Well this finally arrived after a few weeks. Worth the wait. Normally you get a raw deal with these so called special editions - not so this one. In addition to extended deleted scenes and screen tests (Matt looks soooo young) there is a very interesting documentary on Coppola's directing of the actors. Shows them playing games, improvising and even giving the actors physical discomfort in order to play the scene in the right way - for instance, when they film Matt as Rudy meeting all the lawyers and staff from Great Benefit, they stick a rock in his back and in his shoes to show his discomfort - so he doesn't have to think about the acting. Those actors have to work hard for Coppola. Absolutely fascinating.

Which reminds me....is the Bourne Supremacey special edition worth buying?

Re: Rainmaker special edition

Can't remember the Supremacy special edition, but I'll check it again later.

The Rainmaker SE was great, and I've got lots of quotes and stories the commentary and features, but forgot about it in the Bourne rush. Will do a post on it soon.
