Not related to Matt but Jon Stewart on the Daily Show did a laugh out loud sketch of Bruce Springsteen's hit Dancing in the Dark video with Jon replacing Courtney Cox, I very nearly wet myself laughing, brilliant!

We saw him about twenty years ago when he played Wembley Stadium, one of the best concerts I've ever seen and I wasn't a fan at the time, though I've really enjoyed his music ever since.

I didn't know Matt was a fan, I'm sure he and Lucy had a great time.

Interesting comments about the state of the movie industry at the moment on here too, agreed with everything that's been posted. Maybe Hollywood will one day realise that people over the age of 25 watch movies too, and like films that treat us like adults. You've got an intelligent audience Felicity. Marcia

Matt has said for a long time that he's a fan of Bruce's music, and Bruce the person. He often talks about the time when Michael Jackson and Bruce Springsteen were the two biggest stars in the world, but Michael couldn't leave his house and Bruce could be seen having a beer at the local pub. So it's always been Bruce the role model and classic rock hero.

Matt also participated in a Bruce-based sketch in his SNL appearance.

When Matt guest DJ'd a London radio show in 2000 there was at least one Bruce song, and I'm sure in the German interview about his favourite songs there was more Bruce. Great that he was able to catch the first of Bruce's two LA shows.

Another connection - Bruce was actually the musical guest when Matt hosted SNL.
