  • Eddie Izzard confirms he will have a role in Ocean's Thirteen here.

  • On his official website here in 2004, Ocean's actor Don Cheadle discussed why he chose not to be credited in Ocean's Eleven. Were all the actors lured to the film under the same premise?

The short version of the answer is at the time the credit sequence was being put together I believed that the cast list would appear in alphabetical order. While at a showing of another movie I saw the Ocean’s trailer running with the credit card that ultimately remained. I requested my name be removed from the film at that time given that I felt I had been cut out of the process. My former agent thought I was making a big mistake.

  • And confirmation that Franka Potente will not be appearing in The Bourne Ultimatum from the Birmingham Post. Yes people, she really did die in Supremacy.

Sadly she won't be returning for the final part of the trilogy -The Bourne Ultimatum - as her character got a bullet in the head at the start The Bourne Supremacy.

"I thought it was a little sad we didn't get to see more of the two of them together. I know Matt felt the same way because his character is so robotic that all the emotions that make a story warmer and more complex are to do with her and she is gone immediately. We felt it would have been more harsh for him if he lost her a little bit later."

  • More rumors about problems during the production of Syriana from Roger Friedman at Fox News.

Of all the Section Eight films, "Syriana" was the most contentious. Sources have told me stories on numerous occasions of how director Stephen Gaghan — whom Soderbergh championed because he adapted the script for "Traffic" — had to be taken off the picture so Soderbergh could make massive fixes before it was released.
