Informant, Green Zone, interviews

  • Joel McHale talked about working with Matt and Steven Soderbergh at the Boston Herald:

McHale, who plays an FBI agent in the upcoming dark comedy “The Informant,” told the Track that he was struck by how funny the Cambridge homey, who plays a bloated corporate whistleblower, and director Steven Soderbergh were on the set.

"My big thing was to stop laughing because Matt Damon and Steven Soderbergh are some of the funniest people,” he said. “Matt has a great sense of humor and Soderbergh makes me fall over laughing. I was just struck by how funny they were.”

  • Capone at Aint it cool news interviews Jason Isaacs about Green Zone and other projects - note that the interview was conducted in October, prior to re-shoots for the film in Morocco and London.

Isaacs: And now there are films about Iraq. Hopefully I'm going to be in the best one, Green Zone.

  • A pre-fame Matt and Ben were interviewed for New York magazine in October 1997 and it's an interesting look back. Ben claimed he would always live in New York and would never move to Los Angeles. Available at Google Books.

  • And a good interview with Matt around the time of the Bourne Ultimatum press junket, originally only available in Spanish, is here - Matt discusses his favourite books and how he's learning Spanish.
