Kimmel response Sunday, Guerrilla
  • Expect Jimmy Kimmel's response to the Matt/Sarah Silverman video on this Sunday's Kimmel show, broadcast after the Oscars. Ben's on the guest list, and Sarah also suggested viewers watch the show when discussing her video with Matt on the Adam Carolla show (podcast available here).

  • Steven Soderbergh's two Che Guevera films may open and close the Cannes Film Festival. Matt's rumored to have a cameo in Guerrilla.

  • Forbes magazine placed Bourne Ultimatum second on its inaugural list of 2007 films that were critically and commercially successful.

The return of Matt Damon as Jason Bourne in The Bourne Ultimatum also proved a potent mix, chasing its way to the No. 2 slot in the Forbesies list with $442.7 million in global box office (No. 9 overall in the worldwide rankings) and a No. 6 finish in the MetaCritic comparisons based on its overall 85 from the site.

  • From a list of director Michel Gondry's favourite films in Newsweek:

    5. "Stuck on You." I saw it after my girlfriend abandoned me, and I totally felt like Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear: separated twins.

Agreed about SOY. It's really sweet, but just not what people were expecting. And some people couldn't get beyond the concept to value the movie for what it was.

And as Matt says when referring to it, it's how he met Lucy (when filming on location in Miami).

I just want to say thank you for all of your hard work. I have not commented for a while because college is very stressful right now.

I finally found other people that actually liked SOY. Even the Farrelly Brothers have disowned it. It was a cute movie!

thanks for your website - I know this takes a lot of work and you are appreciated!
