The Good Shepherd Sequel etc

I really hope De Niro is able to do a sequel; I loved the movie and felt it was too short. I still think maybe a TV mini-series would have suited the material better, but that's just my opinion. It's a really great and totally underrated movie and one of those films that improves with repeated viewing, having watched it a few times I like it more and more, the only thing that still jars is Billy Crudup's 'English' accent, still horrible. Matt really should have received an Oscar nomination for his role, no actor in Hollywood did better work that year.

Even though I do feel for Paul Greengrass, Waterloor station is used by 350,000 to 500,000 commuters every day, I certainly would have taken a few pics if I'd had the chance. The Waterloo sequence is my favourite in the movie and not just because it's in the city I live in.

Really sad news about Sydney Pollack dying, and so soon after Anthony Minghella - a very talented director and I liked him a lot as an actor too.

Also, I agree with Maureen's comments about the work you do on the site. I'm really hoping it remains fun for you for a very long time. Marcia
