I should be writing about Matt's successes, but frankly my hormones would like to stand up and say, "Matt really looks incredibly handsome." :o)

    MoMA presentation

Nice to see Matt looking like himself again (sigh).

I know you don't normally include blogs here, but for anyone who's interested there's a brief report about the Bourne/memory screening and discussion at MoMA at http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/discoblog/2008/06/02/world-science-festival-the-accidental-science-of-jason-bourne/

    Human Factor confirmed

Brilliant news. Racing the Monsoon was a false rumor and Matt has committed to Human Factor, to start early next year (I was correct).

Filming will take place in South Africa with Clint Eastwood to direct.

    Re: Human Factor confirmed

Great news about Matt being confirmed to star in Human Factor. I think it's a fantastic story that should be told. I'm old enough to remember the diplomatic nightmare that erupted when South Africa took part in the Rugby World Cup and Mandelela's role in uniting the country.

One of my best friends lived and worked in South Africa during the Apartheid regime. On her first day off she headed to the beach; happily sunbathing the police approached her and told her she had to leave. She was sunbathing in a 'Whites Only' part of the beach.

When the rules of Apartheid were explained to her the police decided to let her stay as she had a British passport and they didn't want to start a diplomatic incident, they did warn her to be careful where she sunbathed in the future, and to only use the beaches marked for 'Coloureds' she wasn't dark enough to be considered Black. She laughs about it now but at the time she was absolutely furious. Thankfully times have changed, though life doesn't seem to be any easier for the indegenous population.

On a different note, I loved the picture of the Tesla. I'd love the guys on Top Gear to give it a test drive and give their opinion of it. Marcia

    Re: Human Factor confirmed

I agree. this is a real terrific thing.

Clint - Morgan & Matt ~ what a great combo. this sounds like interesting stuff for an excellent political drama. glad Matt got that incredible opportunity and signed for the challenge... to work with Clint and Morgan might be a valuable experience.

re ZA... yeah right... "times have changed"... but unfortunately not all over ZA. it's still an adventure in harsh experiences from time to time ;). but well all in all ZA is an interesting, exciting and beautiful country, no doubt.

Marcia, you just loved the picture of the Tesla? :D I think you probably would love the car as well ;). don't you? imagine the feeling behind the wheel of such a splendid car ;). the Tesla is great but if I would have the necessary wherewithal I would for sure get a Venturi Fetish. *wink*
btw - I would recommend Matt to pick a Tesla in that fantastic and passionate red colour. absolutely perfect.
