I enjoyed the Letterman interview, although Matt seemed a little out of sorts at the beginning. Felt like he had something else on his mind--no smiles until a minute or two into the interview when he seemed suddenly to remember where he was. Letterman virtually forced him to do his McConaughey impression, and Matt was clearly annoyed, fumbled for a few seconds, and finally came up with a line that involved the taking off of his(McConaughey's) shirt. The audience and Letterman loved it. Matt's comment after Letterman asked him to do the impression, was on the order of "I can't believe we're still doing this."

I'm not sure the promo for Informant went too well; Matt had prepared a clip which included a few seconds at the end of a Transformers shot tearing up a city block. All very discombobulated.

But what is clear is how much the audience loves Matt. Also, Letterman had high praise for Informant and for Matt personally. He called him a "lovely man", something you very rarely hear Letterman, the ultimate wry grouch and cynic, say.

All in all, though, good to see Matt again. And, yes, I found the bit about Clooney to be hysterical.

I.B.
