Ratings for 30 Rock episode

The Nielsen ratings for Matt's episode were good, considering it was up against the Grey's Anatomy finale, which apparently was an incredible episode. GA got its best ratings in quite a while.

9:30 p.m.

ABC – Grey’s Anatomy (season finale)
Viewers: 14.86 million (#1), A18-49: 5.2/14 (#1)

CBS – CSI (season finale)
Viewers: 14.47 million (#2), A18-49: 3.3/ 9 (#2)

NBC – 30 Rock (season finale)
Viewers: 5.45 million (#4), A18-49: 2.8/ 8 (#3)

Fox – Fringe (season finale)
Viewers: 5.62 million (#3), A18-49: 2.1/ 6 (#4)

CW – Smallville (R)
Viewers: 1.27 million (#5), A18-49: 0.5/ 1 (#5)

30 Rock appears to have the highest ratings of the NBC comedies last night, so I would guess Matt had something to do with that:

On NBC, Community didn’t seem to benefit from the absence of Survivor like other 8pm shows, it was even with last week’s 2.0 adults 18-49 rating. Parks & Recreation got a 5% bump vs. last week, as well as last season’s finale with a 2.1 adults 18-49 rating. The Office finale was merely even vs. last week, and down 3% from last year’s finale with a 3.4 rating. 30 Rock was up 12% from last week, and even with last season’s finale with a 2.8 rating. The Marriage Ref finale was up 31% vs. last week to a 2.1 rating.

Re: Ratings for 30 Rock episode

Oops, I should have said 30 Rock had the highest increase in viewers compared to last week, not that it had the highest rating overall. The Office had a bigger viewing audience.
