Hereafter premiere
  • Matt, Lucy and family members attended the New York Film Festival premiere of Hereafter on Sunday. Matt told ET in a video at redcarpetreport.com that their new baby, a girl, is due in early November (Matt's quote is below). Photos are at Zimbio, PicApp, Daily Mail, Globo.com, Premiere and Pure People. A photo of Matt's family arriving at the premiere is at this Twitter page, and small photos of Alexia posing with Lucy and Matt are at Startraks. Matt and Lucy did not attend the after-party.

Matt: "I think to wear a leopard dress, with that belly, that’s kind of awesome. We’re due early next month but it’s the fourth time around so you never know. She’s great, she’s the best. [It’s a girl?] Yes. I’ve been outnumbered... but it’s beyond absurd now. But it’s amazing. Any experience raising the girls is amazing. I understand boys. It’s just girls are a totally different, they’re a different species and I’m learning. It’s a whole new wonderful world that I get to learn about."

  • A few photos from Matt's birthday party last Thursday: with drummer Curtis Watts and DJ Suga Ray. In this video at Newspusher (not available), Matt says he 'spent his birthday hanging with family and friends.' A photo of Matt and Isabella on his birthday (ignore the false German report) is at Bunte.

  • Bourne 4 director Tony Gilroy has advised Hollywood Elsewhere that Jason Bourne will not be a character in the movie and that Matt is not being replaced. The movie will be a stand alone film that continues the legacy of Bourne (and leaves it open for Matt to potentially return in the future).

  • EPK clips and interviews from Hereafter cast and crew members are at Trailer Addict.

Congrats to Matt and Lucy on their new girl.

And I'm glad that the new Bourne movie won't try to replace the Damon/Bourne combo, which was just a marriage made in heaven. I think the studio's being clever about it, although I have my doubts about Gilroy being able to match Greengrass. Has Matt made any comment about it yet?

Just posted an interview with Access Hollywood. Matt says he knows nothing about the film and read about the new film on the web. He may be playing ignorant, but it makes Universal look bad.

Lucy looks beautiful, glowing as she always does when she is pregnant, and Matt is as gorgeous as ever - i love the glasses. Froggy

This guy is just awesome. His body of work and his attitude in general. I really think that Matt is one of those who has contributed positvely into others (professional and personal relationships) and it pays off. Nothing is perfect. However, if I were asked to describe perfect, Matt Damon would come to mind. His wife is beautiful - all of the time. She is beautiful in these pics but I do not like the dress (it would not look good on any pregnant woman). Bold choice and I will give her props for that.

Your website is great!! Thank you isn't nearly enough, but it is all I have at the moment.

    Re: Refreshing

Thanks for your comments Yoli. I love that Lucy was confident enough to wear the dress, and I love Matt's comments about her - full text was at ET:

"I told her it kicks ass," he told ET. "To wear a leopard dress with that belly is kind of awesome."

Meanwhile, Damon stayed tight-lipped about names he and his wife are considering for baby number four.

"We've got some good finalists," he revealed. "But we don't trot them out because people come back with opinions."

Don't know if you've posted this (I haven't seen it), but here is Yahoo!'s review of Hereafter. Very positive.
