Wowsers!

This interview is so amazing. This is exactly why people love him so much. He keeps himself humble and his perspective close to reality. He feels like an old friend, someone you've known from childhood. Sometimes famous people seem to have a fake persona that they present in interviews and such. He doesn't seem to have that. His candidness is a huge part of his magnetic appeal. He dares to be a little more blunt about the negatives of the business than other actors, but his wording is gentle and relative. I love hearing him talk. I love seeing him. His spirit is calming and familiar.

Well said! I've felt that from him for a long time.

Re: Wowsers!

Ditto Ditto Ditto...My sentiments exactly. I wish him a long, successful career with a "private" private life.

With some, it's almost like when does the acting stop? It seems that many stars, celebrities, what have you, seem to carry on in a manner in which they cry out, "look at me! am I not something special? See what a perfect person I am!" Matt seems to focus more on, "Look at this writer; see what the director has done here; everyone I work with is so amazing.." Think about it. Unless prompted about his image of himself, he only gives credit to the others he's worked with.

I'm sure he feels good about himself and what he has accomplished so far (how couldn't he) but he doesn't seem to wear his success on his sleeve.
