Matt will appear in George Clooney's next directorial project called The Monuments Men, which has an all-star cast. Details are at Deadline. The project will film in Europe early next year. Matt talked about signing to the project in an Access Hollywood interview at the premiere.
Matt Damon is negotiating to join The Monuments Men, the period drama that George Clooney will direct in January in Europe as a co-production between Sony Pictures and 20th Century Fox. Damon joins what continues to be shaping up as an amazing cast. Besides Damon and Clooney, the film will star Skyfall‘s Daniel Craig, Bill Murray, Cate Blanchett, The Artist’s Jean Dujardin, Argo‘s John Goodman, Hugh Bonneville and Bob Balaban. Clooney and Damon did the Ocean’s Eleven movies together and Syriana.

Krasinski: "I just drove to his house every weekend. He wins by default with four little girls, and so that's a very busy house that I have to go to him," Krasinski explained of working with the star. "We actually wrote with children climbing all over him, and he was doing bath time and dinner and everything, and we still got it done."
