LA premiere

  • Photos from the LA premiere are at Yahoo, Zimbio and Wireimage. Video from the premiere is at ET, where Matt talks about Behind the Candelabra.

  • A fun interview with Matt and John by Josh Horowitz is at MTV.

  • An interview with Matt about upcoming projects is at The Playlist:

Is [Elysium] going to be as cool as we all hope it is?
I think so. I think it's going to be pretty great. But people have such high hopes for Neill… He showed me some of the effects. It's pretty sick.

Are you planning to work with Paul Greengrass again?
Yeah. Whenever I can. Whenever I can. Apparently his movie he just did is brilliant, the one he just did with Tom Hanks, "Captain Phillips." In fact, I had dinner with Paul a month ago in London and he said, "It's everything I wanted it to be." Which is insane that he said that. I have pretty high hopes for it.

And you just did the last Steven Soderbergh movie – how was that?
It was sad. It went incredibly well, I'm really proud of it. It's a wonderful movie.

    When he comes back...
    He'd better come back.

    You'll be there?
He knows I'm waiting. He knows I'll be there.

    Have you seen [Liberace]?
Yeah. I love it. I'm really happy with it. I'm dying to know what people think. I think it's pretty special. Michael is phenomenal.

  • A fun hour-long SAG conversation with Matt about early work and different projects is at YouTube.

  • John talked about Ben Affleck working on the script to the NY Post:

Matt Damon and John Krasinski got some help from “Argo” director Ben Affleck on their new movie “Promised Land,” which they co-wrote and star in. “Ben gave us advice,” Krasinski told us at a Focus Features screening at the AMC Loews Lincoln Square 13 Tuesday. “He read the script, pretty much every other draft along the entire way. We were really lucky to have his advice and his blessing because he really loved the movie.” Krasinski admitted it was Damon’s idea to involve Affleck, and knows he won’t be a third wheel in the “Good Will Hunting” pair’s long-term bromance. “I know that I will never be Ben,” Krasinski continued, joking, “but I will give ‘Argo 2’ a shot.” Damon has compared “The Office” star Krasinski toGeorge Clooney. But guest Stanley Tucci had other ideas: “I believe he will be the next Rosemary Clooney,” Tucci said, “but shorter. And Polish."
