Love the photo of Matt at the Philanthropic Roundtable, wonder what he is thinking :) I read through the Monuments Men journal of Claire Simone (http://clairesimonesjournal.tumblr.com/) the other day, and really looking forward to seeing the movie. I saw a photo of Matt in a magazine when waiting to go in for a MRI brain scan at the hospital today, helped me through it. M..

Matt's very engaged in the roundtable as an observer (lots of reaction shots of him in the audience in the video).

Good luck with the scan. A Globes or SAG photo in the magazine?

Reviews for Monuments Men out tomorrow - expect them to be mixed. It looks like there's not much character development or character definition, but the movie should be entertaining.

That's a shame about it being mixed and the lack of character development. With the people involved at all levels I would like to expect a home run. Also, I never want anything bad to be blamed in Matty.

Thanks Felicity (mattdamoncolumn), no it was an older Australian Woman's Day magazine February 2011 with Chrissie Swan's "Miracle Birth" on the cover). The article was about an interview with Matt talking about "Hereafter", "Behind The Candelabra", and maintaining a balance between work, fatherhood, and wife. The title of the article was about laughing gas, with a photo of Matt laughing. After getting past the initial anxiety when they pad and cage the head in, rather than feeling claustrophobic the whole way through the MRI scan (like the previous scan I wasn't able to go through), I found myself giving the thumbs up saying "I'm good to go" (reminded of Jodie Foster's "Contact") and laughing at the weird MRI sounds the scanner makes. Thanks for cheering me up Matt. :) M..
