Matt Damon and Ben Affleck’s multi-cam comedy “More Time With Family” has nabbed a pilot order from CBS.
The high profile project stars Tom Papa as a husband and father making a career change to spend more time with his fam. Papa penned the pilot along with Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa. Project received a put pilot commitment from the Eye in October.
20th Century Fox TV is producing “More Time,” with Damon and Affleck exec producing through Pearl Street Films, and Dave Becky and Josh Lieberman through 3 Arts.
Jimmy Kimmel, you might want to hide the duct tape and hire some extra security: Notable nemesis Matt Damon has been booked to appear on the Feb. 6 installment of Jimmy Kimmel Live, EW has learned. This marks the first time that the actor will return to the ABC talk show since hijacking it last January as “revenge” for Kimmel’s running gag of ending shows with an apology to Damon for bumping him as a guest. Damon will be joined by his fellow castmates from Feb. 7′s big-screen drama The Monuments Men, including George Clooney (who hasn’t had a sit-down appearance on JKL since its premiere 11 years ago), Bill Murray (who’s never been on the show), John Goodman, Cate Blanchett, and Bob Balaban.
The special episode will feature a new edition of Mean Tweets, with the Momunents Men cast reading offensive comments about themselves found on Twitter.
