    ABC News pick up

Here is a silly/cute video pick up of the "Matt surfing" photos.

I guess we know where she gets her info, because she also picked up the random (false) comment implying that he is alone. Terrible 'journalism', but cute that she's overt in her Matt fandom.

    Martian to shoot in Hungary

    Didn't see this coming:

    UK Production News ‏@Uk_Production
Ridley Scott to direct 'The Martian', a sci-fi thriller starring Matt Damon. It's shooting in Hungary late this year http://www.UkProductionNews.com

Budapest in winter sounds like a poor option instead of Sydney in summer. Must be a good tax rebate. (Budapest is the coldest place I have ever been to.)

    Re: Robin Williams

Sorry to hear the news, in tears just wanted to visit mattdamoncolumn to send Matt a hug. Dead Poets Society and Good Will Hunting are my favourite movies, and love Robin Williams as an actor and sense of humour. Very sad news. Thinking of you Matt, Mel (M..). p.s. Hi Felicity and mattdamoncolumn friends/readers.

    Re: Robin Williams

He was the greatest on-the-fly comedian we've ever known. He was a wonderful actor. But his brilliance clearly came from a place of great pain. He nearly killed me and two friends when we attended a concert he did in San Jose, CA with John Sebastian opening for him in the early '80's. We laughed so hard and were in so much physical pain from the laughter, we actually feared dying as we gasped for breath. The man was a genius. Rest easy now, Robin. He gave us so much; all we could give him was money and fame, but we couldn't give him what he needed. God bless him. We loved him more than he could know.

I'm willing to bet Matt is devastated. What a loss!

Robin was as sweet a man as he was funny. If you're sad, please tell someone.

    Re: Robin Williams

So sorry for Matt and all Robin's friends and family. Dreadful loss. There was nobody like him. I keep thinking about Matt bringing Robin on to do the monologue on the Kimmel show he hosted last year. There was obviously still a lot of affection between them.

Depression is a stalker. I'm so sad.

Paula, i posted that video clip on my Facebook page as soon as I heard the news. Mental illness and the tragedy it can bring, its very sad and upsetting for such a man.
