Re: BAFTA red carpet

Awesome - thanks for the tips Irina. I think at 2.08 he is meeting Felicity Blunt, the wife of Stanley Tucci (and sister of Emily). There's a good photo of the group here:

In this video Lucy is in the background taking a selfie:

A longer interview with Matt about attending the Oscars and filming Bourne (but he doesn't say how long they have left to film):

RE: Re: BAFTA red carpet

In the second video I think Lucy is taking a photo of the guy with the red flowers. And maybe standing next to Felicity? I don't recognize him, perhaps he is one of their party?

Re: BAFTA red carpet

O.K. Lucy is a goddess. She gets better looking every year. Matt is looking great, too, and he always seems to be the joyful kid giving autographs, smiling and just living in the moment. How can anyone not like this guy?

Re: BAFTA red carpet

Agree!Lucy's dresses are always beautiful -I would say the most beautiful- very classy and tasteful; she also wears them very nicely. And Matt is pleasant to everybody, with a large smile, this is not the case of everyone!

RE: Re: BAFTA red carpet

I agree she really is beautiful and has wonderful taste with her dresses and style! Matt and Lucy are blessed to have each other. They always looks so happy and you can definitely tell they're both so genuine and down to earth.
I'm all the time on DailyMail reading comments about them and some people are so AWFUL and HATEFUL about her... :(

Haters gonna hate, Hanna.
Don't let them bother you.

Re: BAFTA red carpet

Thanks Irina for sharing that red carpet video footage! I enjoyed seeing it and the twitter interview was great too with Matt talking. He said "Leo is my friend". And there you have it folks! :D
Yes, I agree Louie, like a joyful kid. I always enjoy him meeting & greeting with the fans.

Re: BAFTA red carpet

"Leo is my friend." Snerk! LOL! Some misdirections are fun! And, yes, G. I think I'd love being around the guy--so positive. He knows what's important.

Re: BAFTA red carpet

Off topic, where are you located in the world Louie? Where did everyone get the idea that Matt and Leo weren't friends exactly? I mean I've never seen them spending time together, but where'd this notion of them not being friendly to one another come from?

Re: BAFTA red carpet

Butting in, I would say the Departed press junket, where they kind of had fun but you could tell they were never close. There is no warmth there.

RE: Re: BAFTA red carpet

Butting in too, but, it's obvious. There was all the stiffness during The Departed press, as Felicity said. Remember a couple of years ago when Leo was called out (on Instagram, maybe?) for publicly bashing Matt at a restaurant? And Matt has thrown some subtle shade this year at Leo for all his whining about his "suffering", which to Matt's way of thinking would have been insufferable as well as unprofessional. And there's the fact that some of Matt's friends don't like Leo. Clooney did a devastating interview calling out Leo for his childishness and warning him about his hangers-on a few years ago.

But I'm sure Ben gets on well with Leo! Ha.

Re: BAFTA red carpet

Oh, I had my head buried in the sand for The Departed press junket. I only had my eyes glued to the silver screen then and didn't follow Matt as closely then. Interesting though, maybe I can find some footage on the inter webs.

Oh yeah, I've been wondering who Matt's been referring to talking about actors and their suffering. Interesting....

I've seen Leon in person once from afar out to see a movie once on his own time, and he sorta gave the (excuse me) douchey vibe, but maybe he's a bit of an introvert. He had his ball cap low over his brown and he demanded my friend to get a ticket in to a movie after the selling time was over. So... But I won't pass too judgement since I've not really seen him in action. I've NEVER warmed to him, so all the Oscar fawning has me rolling my eyes. When will Matt get one for HIS acting???

Re: BAFTA red carpet

Paula's on the money again--and there's a lot more, but I'm shutting up about Leo from now on after this post. He's a good actor, generally, and ferocious for his own privacy--I guess he's got his reasons--I certainly don't blame him. He's philanthropic: kudos! (o.k., I hope that clears up my Karma!).

Well, Gregory, where's Waldo, er, Louie? I'm a happy camper nestled among the mysterious San Juan Islands of the Pacific Northwest--currently. I've been in a lot of places, L.A. being one--not going back. There's much joy to be found elsewhere--right now I'm finally going to watch "Kiss Me Kate"--the 3-D Blu-ray-on my large TV again. Remembering Matt singing, "My Funny Valentine" in "Ripley" and having seen the little dance he did on Ellen, I'm wondering if he might ever do a musical? Wunderbar! God bless us all!

Louie

Re: BAFTA red carpet

Louie - Paula is ALWAYS on the money. You and that 3d Blu ray player on your large TV, lol, stop bragging, LOL :) Woah didn't picture you up in the Northwest. Sounds really nice! L.A. - not going back. Hey I call it home, but I bet you knew that, but I'm a transplant from NJ by way of VA for college. I love seeing other places, even spent a few yrs in GA, now that's a place I'm not going back to. Who here could forget Matt singing "My Funny Valentine", it's downloadable on iTunes!! A musical of Matt, now that I'd pay to go see in a heartbeat. He's such a chameleon with all his roles, and THAT is a true actor. And then to see him on the red carpet with his wife enjoying himself is just the cherry on top. He's such a good egg.
