    Manchester, Sundance

Again, huge kudos to Matt for the Oscar noms for Manchester.

I couldn't get the Malkin interview to play for me, but I'm assuming this is the same one. In case anyone else is having the same trouble, here it is. It's the first time I have heard Matt refer to the water crisis in Flint, which I was kind of hoping he would do at some point.

    Re: Manchester, Sundance

Matt told about Flint water crisis in an interview at Sundance last year. I had found it randomly at that time.

Forbes Mention of Matt at Sundance

Matt's event picked as one of the highlights of the first week at Sundance

From Tap to Table: Stella Artois and Matt Damon team up over lunch to save the world

It’s usually difficult for a daytime panel to be as exciting or stimulating as an evening affair. But when an event has Matt Damon giggling over doing good for the world, it’s hard to beat. This lunch, jointly thrown by Stella Artois and Water.org, was the launch of their 2017 Buy a Lady a Drink Campaign that aims to bring clean water to 3.5 million people in the developing world. Matt Damon and Gary White, a co-founder of Water.org, shared moving stories about the global water crisis and people whose lives have been transformed by access to clean water. That would have been enough on its own but guests were served a three-course meal, paired with Stella, created by Chef Marcus Samuelsson, the brains behind Red Rooster in Harlem and the guest chef for Obama’s first state dinner.

    Re: Producers Guild Awards

Casey lost the SAG Award today and is probably now likely to lose the Oscar (due to backlash, not merit). Noting that awards are rarely given on merit (see Revenant, La La Land).

    Manchester By the Sea!

Just saw it, and though it was very slow paced and quiet, i was really impressed!
Casey did very well, as for Michelle Williams and everyone else involved!
Poor Jacksons character though 😂 I laughed when he yelled "get off my back!". Hope to see him in more.
    I give the movie a 7/10

    The Martian Extended

I finally got around to purchasing The Martian Extended Edition. I cannot recommend it enough!! There's over 2 hours of special features!!! A detailed & lengthy Making of, NASA's plan to get to Mars, Gag Reel, Deleted Scenes, trailers, 5 Ares Mission videos etc.

I wonder where Matt will be watching the Super Bowl. My guess at his home with friends and family

    Oscars lunch

Matt is at the Oscars lunch, and wearing a name-tag.

He may also be on Kimmel with Tom Brady and Rich Eisen.
