His most recent project is an upcoming Martin Scorsese film called, "The Departed." It tells the story of two moles - played by Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon - who each work for the Boston police force and an Irish gang. Harris, who played alongside Damon in one scene, is billed as Cadet #2. The film also features Jack Nicholson, Alec Baldwin, Martin Sheen and Mark Wahlberg. Of all the stars dropping in on set, Harris bonded with Damon the most.
"Matt makes you feel like a friend," he said. "We talked for hours, he's so personable and just genuine. He loves talking and likes to observe."
Harris says Damon even provided a few words of advice for the Matoaca actor's first rain scene.
"It's very cold," he said. "We got drenched, soaking wet."
Now that he's forged a friendship with Damon, Harris plans to enlist the A-list actor's help in promoting his own film, "Saga Tier."
