By 5 p.m., more than 50 fans flocked around the Music Hall to get a glimpse of the stars. Armed with digital cameras and camera phones, they maneuvered around to get the best position for a celebrity photo.
"I love you Matt! I love you!" one girl yelled from across the street.
Damon waved to fans from his chauffeured Cadillac Escalade before ducking back into the Music Hall. When he emerged at 5:30 p.m., he stopped to pose for a few pictures, and then turned to the fans standing behind the yellow police line.
"How ya doin?" he said with a smile, causing an explosion of screams.
"This was like Elvis in the house," said Sandy Olson of Tarrytown, standing next to her 23-year-old daughter, Denise. "I could be his mother, but he is cute."
