  • As the news and photo drought continues, here's a comment from actress Emma Roberts (Julia Roberts' niece) at the Chicago Sun-Times:

Has Aunt Julia ever introduced you to any of her megababe co-stars, or at your age, is someone like Brad Pitt an old man?

Hey, I was on the set of "Ocean's Eleven" with my aunt. I got to meet Brad Pitt and Matt Damon. Brad is pretty cute. But I like Matt, too. I love him. When I was 8, I was at this gas station in Los Angeles with my mom, and Matt was pumping gas right next to us. I said hello. The next day was my Aunt Julia's birthday party and I ran into Matt, who said, "Didn't I see you at a gas station yesterday?" It was a happy moment, and my aunt was like, "Emma, where are you hanging out!"

Matt always seems to remember people, no matter how trivial the circumstances are when he first sees/meets somebody. You can't help but like a guy that takes notice.

    Australian TV "appearances"

"Syriana: An Inside Look" is playing on Austar (pay TV - like Foxtel) at 3.30pm TODAY ONLY (South Australian time - so probably 3pm EST).
I noticed it was on yesterday, throughout the day, but it's not listed in the station guide, and doesn't appear to be showing after today.
Haven't seen it yet, but it is described as having interviews with Matt, George and the director.

"Push, Nevada" was on last night, midnight, on Channel 7. This is the TV show, made a few years ago, "from the creative team of Ben Affleck and Matt Damon" (as says my TV guide). It's on next week as well, 12am - 1am Wednesday March 8.

    Re: Australian TV "appearances"

I saw a mention of the Syriana BTS program but don't have Foxtel/Austar.

Push, Nevada has been playing for a few weeks and was originally shown last year or the year before on late night TV. Must be a cheap buy from the US.
