Having had the chance to meet Matt in person, I can definitely agree that he looks even better in person! =D On film, he does occasionally look a little ... odd. But in person, stunning!

In early 2000, my sister worked at Louise's Trattoria in LA, and Matt and Steven Soderbergh were eating lunch there. She called me on her break and told me to haul ass over there. They were closing their tab when I got there, so I respectfully approached, and said I just wanted to say hi and that I was a fan of his work. He gave me the trademark smile and said thanks, he appreciated it. Chit chatted for a second, and then I said bye. I didn't want to be like "OMG SIGN STUFF! TAKE PICTURES WITH ME! HAVE MY BABIES!" =D Short and sweet. Unforgettable.

You are so lucky. I am soooooooooooo jealous of you. To meet him, is my dream. You really have the guts to go up to him and say hi. I'll faint or gasp for air. I don't know. All I know that I'll be not myself then.

BTW there is this guy who my parents want me to get married with. I first objected because he is real short. But when I heard he has been recently transferred to his BOSTON branch, I immediately said YEEEEEEEEEEEES!!!
Am I a hypocrite?

I kept changing my mind! At first, I was too nervous. Then I realized I would never get the chance again, and I got all excited, so I almost rushed right up to start freaking out! But I didn't want to be "that" crazy fan and ruin his lunch. So I thought about what to say, and waited till that perfect moment where I wouldn't interrupt them. I was nervous and giddy, but I had to do it! Once in a lifetime chance.

haha! But he doesn't live in Boston anymore! =p

How intelligent of you. I can feel how precious that moment must have been for you. Did you sleep that night?

I live in the East. Boston, New York and Miami are all same for me. I have never been to the US. Atleast I can see His and Ben's house and that famous chair in that famous park. BTW that guy is a good man.

Saw Courage Under Fire. He was so thin yet those blue eyes were so piercing. He gave an awesome perfomance. Washington is one of my favs but Matt stole every seen he had with him. How old was he when he did this film?

haha. Not much! I was too busy calling people and telling them the story!

Oh, I see. =D

Well, it came out in 96', so he would have been 25 or 26 during filming.

Odd?? How so, and it what movies in your opinion? I think he's hotter than hot in everything he does.

Oh I think so too! Don't get me wrong. I guess odd isn't the right word. I just meant he looks way better in person, and "odd" was just meant to mean that he looks VERY different on screen than in real life, which I'm sure is true of any actor.
