This one? It's Matt and Lucy kissing in a carpark in Los Angeles, probably back in 2004.

    Photo agencies

I knew if I let one person link to a photo site it wouldn't take long for others to come up. There are lots of photo sites out there, and if I use any photo sites I include the name or a link. Try a google search. This isn't the place to list or discuss the benefits of particular sites.

Nothing to do with Matt, but I thought you might be interested to know that the article you posted a few weeks ago about celebrities who behave badly has born fruit here in the UK.

The Times on Sunday yesterday published the full article about Russell Crowe and his attempts to manipulate the media to get good PR and also to promote his music.

A very interesting read. The incident when he attacked the concierege in New York seems to have happened because he isn't used to making his own calls. One of his staff always does this for him, hence his fustration.

I thought you'd be interested. I wonder if Matt can still use the telephone? :) MP

It was a very strange article, and I still wonder if Crowe will pursue any legal action in relation to some of its more controversial allegations.

The article seemed to spark a little wave of "tell all" stories by journalists about celebrity behaviour here(Oz), perhaps as a form of self-exorcism by guilty journos questioning their own behaviour. If it makes them stop and question their own actions more, it's a positive outcome.

I agree. I think the journalist who wrote the story doesn't come out of it an a particularly good light either.

it's easy to be dazzled by fame, maybe this was his way as you say of restoring some personal integrity. MP

I don't know why everyone puts up with this terrible celeb behavior. It seems that if journalists, and others who work closely with celebs, spoke out about it ppl like Russel Crowe would have to be accountable for acting like jerks. It seems like everyone in Hollywood is too indulgent of all this pre-madonna-ism. (Ha, made up a word)

It makes me respect ppl like Matt and George Clooney who always put the extra effort in, rather than throwing phones at ppl when they're stressed.

I was the one who posted the links to the other sites. I don't know why it was necessary to delete my posts. There were pictures there that I had never seen and probably many readers had never seen. You let other readers post links to other sites in the comments. I found the photos on those particular sites and just thought others might enjoy seeing them. I would have emailed this message to you rather than posting here, but I don't have an email address for you.

    email info

    Hi Julie,

I know I've known Felicity for a while so her email is easy for me to find, but for people who haven't known her I can tell you if you look at the top of the initial page it has a 'user info' link and her email addy is in there. :)

    (Thanks Ms FI)

I do understand your question Julie, and understand that my self-imposed rules are probably only understood by myself.

Links to photo sites aren't really related directly to this blog, or for the "news and information" purpose of this site. They're also not current news or related to daily events, or reactions to news, which is what the comments section is designed for.

I understand that people may not be aware of certain photo sites, but that's up to them to chase and look at if they choose. I could tell people a list of about 40 photo sites (many I look at many times per day), but that's not what I'm here for. I don't spoonfeed people on this site, and will deliberately not include certain, stories, photos or links - people should find things out for themselves.

There's lots of information out there on the web that I don't link to, for various reasons. I don't link to blog posts (only done this twice for specific reasons), and if people don't do blog searches, they will miss out on a lot of information re Matt - whether it is true or questionable is for the individual to decide. Blogs are not "public information" per se, and often the site owner may not appreciate how widely their personal post is being viewed.

If people are passing on information (ie news, appropriate photos) in links I will keep it posted. If it's a site posting personal or paparazzi photos I won't distribute it widely - I don't want to recommend the link to all but if individuals find it, so be it.

If people want to share links that aren't specifically related to the areas specified above, it could be done via other boards, groups etc.

So, the deleting of posts isn't personal, and I am usually leaving a comment now in relation to the deleted post.

    Thanks, Felicity

    Felicity,

Thanks for your response. Your explanation does make sense. I thought I was being helpful by listing these photos sites, but people can find them on your own, as you said. This is your site to run as you wish and you do a great job with it. Thanks for mentioning the blog search option. I did not even realize this was an option on the internet. I am going to have fun with that searching all kinds of topics. Thanks again for your great site.

Thanks for your kind response Julie. To give you a start on the blog searches - google blog search, bloglines, feedster, icerocket and metacrawler.

But please don't everybody start linking to blog entries (or referencing them)! I will delete them straight away.
